Buldozer Tergelincir dari Badan Truk
Uploaded by www.indonology.com. Sebuah buldozer yang sedang diangkut melintasi Jembatan Mahakam di Samarinda, Kalimantan Timur, tergelincir dari bak tronton yang mengangkutnya. Badan buldozer yang miring dan sebagian tersangkut di bak truk mengakibatkan lalu lintas di Jembatan Mahakam yang menghubungkan antara Kecamatan Samarinda Seberang dan Kota Samarinda, sempat ditutup satu arah. Tergelincirnya buldozer itu terjadi setelah truk yang mengangkutnya bersenggolan dengan truk tronton lain. Menurut pengakuan sopir yang mengangkut buldozer, Hasan, rantai pengikat buldozer putus akibat truk yang dikemudikannya bersenggolan dengan truk lain. Separuh badan buldozer pun terjatuh dari bak tronton dan menutup badan jembatan. Praktis itu menimbulkan kemacetan parah di jembatan. Untuk mengurai kemacetan, kepolisian setempat memberlakukan sistem satu arah. Sementara dari arah Samarinda Seberang, kendaraan roda dua tetap melintas melewati celah sempit antara rangka jembatan dan buldozer. Jalan kembali lancar setelah buldozer dievakuasi dengan crane. Menanggapi kejadian itu, Kepala Satuan Lalu Lintas Kepolisian Resor Samarinda Kompol Rachmad Iswan, polisi akan melakukan penyelidikan terkait insiden itu. Polisi akan mencari ada tidaknya pelanggaran prosedur yang oleh sopir dan petugas pengawal alat berat.(DSY)

In 1964, Tate made a screen test for Sam Peckinpah opposite Steve McQueen for the film The Cincinnati Kid. Ransohoff and Peckinpah agreed that Tate's timidity and lack of experience would cause her to flounder in such a large part, and she was rejected in favor of Tuesday Weld. She continued to gain experience with minor television appearances, and after she auditioned unsuccessfully for the role of Liesl in the film version of The Sound of Music, Ransohoff gave Tate walk-on roles in two motion pictures in which he was producer: The Americanization of Emily and The Sandpiper. In late 1965, Ransohoff finally gave Tate her first major role in a motion picture in the film Eye of the Devil, co-starring David Niven, Deborah Kerr, Donald Pleasence, and David Hemmings. Tate and Sebring traveled to London to prepare for filming, where she met the Alexandrian Wiccan High Priest and High Priestess Alex and Maxine Sanders, the former of whom duly initiated her into Wicca. Meanwhile, as part of Ransohoff's promotion of Tate, he arranged the production of a short documentary called All Eyes on Sharon Tate, to be released at the same time as Eye of the Devil. The plot follows a dentist whose wife wins a lottery ticket, only to become obsessed with money. When her former lover betrays the dentist as a fraud, all of their lives are destroyed. The movie was adapted by von Stroheim (shooting screenplay) and Joseph Farnham (titles) from the 1899 novel McTeague by Frank Norris. (The onscreen writing credit for June Mathis was strictly a contractual obligation to her on the part of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (the parent studio), as she was not actually involved in the production.) In 1959, Welch played the title role in The Ramona Pageant, a yearly outdoor play at Hemet, California, which is based on the novel Ramona by Helen Hunt Jackson and Bob Biloe. She became a weather forecaster at KFMB, a local San Diego television station. Because of her heavy schedule, she decided to leave her studies at San Diego State University (then known as San Diego State College). Ship Name- The Gulf Trade Owner- Gulf Oil Company Design- 6776 ton tanker, built in 1920, 423' long, 59' beam The GULFTRADE was bound for New York out of Port Arthur, Texas with a cargo of oil. She had been traveling under blackout conditions to avoid the German U-boats which were prowling the Atlantic coast. At 11 PM on March 9, 1942, Captain Torger Olsen of the GULFTRADE ordered the ship's running lights turned on because there were several large ships in close proximity, and at the time he feared a collision more than a stalking U-boat. There was a heavy sea running with a strong southwest wind and by the time she had cleared the traffic, the GULFTRADE was only a few miles off of Barnegat. Captain Olsen decided to leave the ship's running lights on, reasoning that no U-boats would come after them that close to shore. "I made a mistake," Captain Olson would later say. At 12:40 AM a single torpedo struck the GULFTRADE between the bridge and the main mast, splitting the vessel in two. As Captain Olsen looked out on his vessel from the bridge, he saw the flames from the explosion almost immediately extinguished by a mercifully large wave. Both sections of the ship remained afloat. Captain Olsen was on the stern section and cast off in a lifeboat with six of his crew. I takt med en allt mer blomstrande hiphopscen gör vi på Whoa nu vårt yttersta för att spegla just detta. Som en del av detta kör vi nu igång vår nya satsning, Whoa-tv, där Vigge som tidigare varit medlem i gruppen Kingsize står bakom kameran. Whoa-tv kommer att innehålla massor av olika videoinslag (reportage, presentationer, intervjuer mm) där vi har låtit filma en rad olika artister, producenter och profiler som förtjänar att synas och höras på den svenska hiphopscenen. Inledningsvis kommer Skåne med omnejd att uppmärksammas, men resor till andra delar av Sverige finns redan i planerna. Ledmotivet är producerat av Academics. I det första avsnittet får vi möta den talangefulle Hurricane från Hurricane Productions och se hur det går till när han skapar ett beat i sin studio.
